Youth United is a program designed for teens ages 13-18 who want to make a difference in our community!  Members of Youth United will participate in various leadership/mentor programs, as well as exclusive field trips, special events, and serve as ambassadors for NB Parks Rec & Beaches.*STIPENDS available for certain programs!(Participation/attendance requirements must be met to receive stipends, not all programs include stipends)New Spring 2025 Programs!!Comic book Creation: March 2025Participants will create original comics addressing the dangers of tobacco and vaping. With guidance from professional artists and youth mentors, students will explore storytelling, illustration, and advocacy to craft comics that educate and inspire their peers. A Showcase of finished comics from around Massachusetts will take place in June**Eligible for Stipend**Youth-Led Podcast Initiative: April Staycation 2025Join us for a FREE hands-on Youth-Led Podcast training where you’ll learn how to create, produce, and launch your own podcast! With funding from The 84, this training will empower young voices to spread awareness about tobacco prevention, healthy choices, and positive community change.This program will provide 8–12 students with hands-on training in podcast production while focusing on themes promoting a healthy lifestyle.
