Free - CBC: Boats by Kids


*This program is offered annually over April Vacation*
Mon-Fri: 10am-12pm
Ages: 10-18

This program is free to New Bedford Residents and open to Non-Residents for a fee. Join us this winter as we build a model boat together! Participants will work to build their own wooden model Bevin Skiff. Throughout the project, students will gain experience with basic tools such as screwdrivers, sandpaper, handsaws, and power drills. Students will have their own supply kit. Any shared tools will be sanitized between uses.

PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS:

1. Be a current Rec Center Member

2. Complete the Rec Center
Program Registration

3. Register with the New Bedford 
Community Boating Center (Required)
