2024 Youth Climate Leadership Program

Are you 13-18 years old and passionate about helping the environment? The Youth Climate Leadership Program is for you! Collaborate with peers, learn from climate change experts, work on a Climate Action Project, and gain advocacy skills - your voice will help create and support climate change solutions in New Bedford!

Our next YCLP meeting will be in one week on Wednesday, May 29th at 3:30pm! We’re excited to welcome Bethany Silva from the New Bedford Anti-Litter Committee/New Bedford Public Library and Mary Lou Nicholson from Be the Solution to Pollution!

  • A big thank you to Amanda Hawkins from DATMA for presenting on May 8 about sustainable art and the Bordalo art collaboration in New Bedford! For those who missed the meeting or would like to learn more, Amanda’s presentation slides are attached to this email.
