Youth United is a program designed for teens ages 13-18 who want to make a difference in our community!
Members of Youth United will participate in various leadership/mentor programs, as well as exclusive field trips, special events, and serve as ambassadors for NB Parks Rec & Beaches.
*STIPENDS available for certain programs!
(Participation/attendance requirements must be met to receive stipends, not all programs include stipends)

Next Wave-Peer Mentorship:
A youth mentorship program that empowers high school students to guide and inspire Middle & Elementary school youth through leadership, creativity, and community engagement. This initiative provides young leaders with hands-on experience in mentorship while working on meaningful and impacting projects.

Podcast Lessons
What You’ll Learn:
1. How to brainstorm and develop podcast topics
2. The basics of audio recording and microphone setup
3. Tips for interviewing and storytelling
4. Editing and adding music/sound effects
5. How to publish and share your podcast with an audience
6. Teamwork and leadership skills while producing your show
By the end of the program, you’ll have the skills to launch your very own podcast episode!
