Coach Training Opportunities
These coach training opportunities are available for both new and experienced coaches and are supported through two separate grant initiatives provided by the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA).
Women and Girls in Sports Coach Training
This training is supported through the Women and Girls in Sports Grant in partnership with Nike. The program focuses on increasing access to sports for girls and women by preparing coaches with strategies to create welcoming, supportive, and empowering environments that encourage female participation and positive experiences in sports.
Million Coaches Challenge Training
This training is made possible through the Million Coaches Challenge, supported by National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) and ESPN. This training equips both new and seasoned coaches with tools focused on positive youth development, helping coaches build strong relationships with athletes, promote teamwork, and create safe and supportive sports environments.
Participation in these trainings helps ensure that all coaches are prepared to provide a positive, inclusive, and development-focused experience for youth and participants in our programs.
