2026 Application to Waive Green Fees-Golf Tournament (Non-profit groups only) at Whaling City Golf Course
Green Fee Waiver Applications Now Open – Whaling City Golf Course (2026)
The City of New Bedford Parks, Recreation & Beaches is accepting applications for the 2026 Green Fee Waiver Program for non-profit golf tournaments at Whaling City Golf Course.
Program Details:
- Three (3) green fee waivers will be awarded.
- Tournaments must be held on a weekday during the spring or fall season.
- Tournament dates are determined between the selected organization and Whaling City Golf Course.
- No outside alcohol is permitted.
Application Deadline:
All completed applications must be received by March 13, 2026.
Applications will be reviewed at the March 18, 2026 meeting of the Board of Park Commissioners. All applicants will be notified via email following the review process.

- Cover letter
- Completed Application Form
- Requested tournament date
- Description of the organization’s purpose
- Explanation of the organization’s community impact
- Description of how tournament profits will be use
