Nature Play & Learn is a FREE Friday after school program at Ricketson Nature Center, offered in partnership with The Trustees of Reservations. This hands-on program introduces youth to outdoor learning, gardening, and environmental exploration in a fun and engaging setting.
Participants will explore local trails and natural spaces, including field trips to nearby locations such as Haskell Gardens. Youth will learn the fundamentals of community gardening through activities like soil testing, planting, and seasonal garden care. The program also encourages creativity through projects like fairy house building and spring-themed nature exploration.
Designed to spark curiosity and build confidence outdoors, Nature Play & Learn helps youth develop a stronger connection to the environment while having fun each week.
