General Information


Fort Taber Community Center located in historic Fort Taber Park, provides sweeping views of New Bedford’s beaches and Buzzards Bay. The community center boasts a beautiful function hall with a small kitchen, large restrooms, an adjacent lawn area, and outdoor picnic style seating. It is great for all types of functions and can comfortably seat up to 150 with associated parking. Additional parking is available for a fee. To view more photos please click here.

Facility Rental Fees
The rate does not include additional set-up and breakdown time.  You must pay for all the time that is needed in the building.  The peak period begins May 15th and ends September 15th.  All rentals are 3-hour minimums.
